Our testers appreciated the ease of use offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just a single push of a button. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without disturbing them.
The side panel can be lowered by itself, too, but it's not advised as it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only stay down when attached to the parent's bed correctly. This is an excellent feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

The only thing our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't stretch as much as other models. This made it a bit harder to see the baby from your bed.
